The development of cardiovascular experimental markers are in a rapid growing phase worldwide and new diagnostic procedures and treatment plans have been introduced one after another every day. In order to promote and exchange insights academically on cardiovascular related technology and ideas, on October 27th, 2023, the "New Whole Blood High-Sensitivity Troponin Chest Pain Triage Seminar and the 2023 Fuwai Xiangya Cardiovascular Experimental Diagnosis Forum" was successfully hosted by the Chinese Association of Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Anesthesia in Changsha, China.

The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Professor Hu Min from the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, who then introduced and invited Professor Zhou Zhou from the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases/Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Experimental Diagnostic Center to deliver a speech.

Later, 5 related academic seminars were held by different professors and experts from well-known hospitals all over China. The fifth academic seminar was hosted by Professor Xie Huabin from the Cardiovascular Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University and in-depth partner of Drawray, Dr. Zhang Xu, who is in charge of the Chinese branch of the Institute of Medical Biology (MBL) from Japan. Dr. Zhang Xu took the title of "Whole Blood Myocardial Marker Detection Technology" and demonstrate how to overcome the  development difficulties of whole blood myocardial marker detection technology. Later, all the attendees witnessed the official launching of Drawray’s whole blood products.

The newly upgraded highly automatic CLIA analyzer iStar 500 includes a built-in real-time HCT module, truly realizing fast and accurate whole blood testing. Currently, the supported cardiac markers include hs-cTnI, NT-proBNP, D-Dimer, CK-MB and Myo. iStar 500 only takes 12 minutes to get the first result at the fastest, and 16 minutes for the remaining test on average.  Moreover, the latest performance verification data shows that the test results of Drawray whole blood testing result are highly consistent with the test results of traditional serum plasma samples (see the figure below for data display). The upgraded iStar 500 can truly diagnose suspicious ACS patient within an hour, which shortens emergency center stay and reduce medical cost.
